The Waiting Game/Being Funemployed

Most days are repeats of the day before. The constants being the before and after work phone calls with Matt, eating badly and watching too much TV.

Completely dependant on what other people have on hard drives, so there’s no time to be picky so you watch what you can get your hands on. When it first launched it was just something to do, so every now and then I tried to catch em all with Pokemon Go, but that got pretty boring really quickly.

When I get lucky enough to visit someone with wifi, I spend some time cheering myself up watching fail compilations, go down some Reddit holes, and catch up on Olympic memes and gifs.

Not including the numerous solo movie marathons or isolated episodes of series, this is a complete list of the full seasons of TV shows I’ve managed to get through in the past 5 weeks. If getting square eyes was a real threat, I would undoubtedly have them by now.

Stranger Things, The Night Manager, The Last Panthers, London Spy.

And Then There Were None, Happy Valley, Hinterland, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

Hap & Leonard, American Horror Story: Coven, American Horror Story: Hotel

Six Feet Under

When I couldn’t bring myself to watch any more TV, I caught up on some reading too.

Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance

The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen

Consider the Lobster and Other Essays by David Foster Wallace
